SCOTTSDALE, AZTHINQ Golf announced today its expanding the features offered in the unique suite of golf mental brain games included in the THINQ Golf mobile App and website. The THINQ Golf Team is excited for the opportunity to grow the THINQ Golf product offering and increasing golf skill training benefits to its members.
From Wednesday, Jan. 21 to Friday, Jan. 23, the THINQ Golf Team will showcase the THINQ Golf mobile App, the only science-based, brain games App designed specifically to change the way golfers think, thus improving on-course golf performance in Exhibition Booth #677 at the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show in the Orange County Convention Center. The THINQ Golf Team is excited for the opportunity to demonstrate the value of its one-of-a-kind golf brain gaming technology to worldwide audience of golf enthusiasts.

Until now, the THINQ Golf suite of brain games included four areas of golf-specific mental skills training: Attention, Awareness, Intention and Synchronicity. Today, the THINQ Golf Adaptability Game enters the arena. The THINQ Golf Adaptability Game trains the crucial ability to maintain focus while performing under pressure with distractions.

Adaptability is one of 5 key skills necessary for consistently hitting the best golf game, thus mentally training in this key area leads to increased consistency on the course. In the real world, both mentally and physically, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic distractions often appear suddenly and distract from key shots – particularly in putting – and ruin concentration, blowing the shot.

Most golfers are familiar with the “conventional” methods for training the mental side of golf – whether it be books, videos, or 1-on-1 discussions with coaches. “THINQ Golf was created in an effort to bring an ‘unconventional’ training method to an area of the game that is often ignored,” explains THINQ Golf Founder and CEO Tim Suzor. “Golfers of all ages and abilities can benefit from these one-of-a-kind tools and work on their mental golf game in a way that is easy, enjoyable, and informative. Besides being interactive, fun, and competitive, THINQ Golf games are scientifically backed with 25+ years of research into the brains of elite and amateur golfers alike.” The scientific research behind each of the THINQ Golf games demonstrates marked improvement in adaptability on the course with just 10 minutes of THINQ Golf mental skill training.

Also new at the THINQ Golf website is the THINQ Golf Mental Game Workbook. This Workbook is designed to provide experiences that will enhance the mind/body performance of a golfer on the golf course. These experiences originate from the book “Golf: Energy in Motion” book, written by Dr. Debbie Crews, and from neuroscience data as it applies to golf. The Workbook includes: golf-centric questions to “Thinq” about, lists to identify strategies, inventories to reveal personality characteristics, exercises to complete during practice, play and tournaments. It is during experience that learning takes place – the THINQ Golf Mental Game Workbook provides these experiences.

PGA Merchandise Show attendees will be able to try the THINQ Golf Games App by visiting THINQ Golf in booth #677 at the show. Pre-book an appointment now with THINQ Golf Representatives Dr. Debbie Crews or Tim Suzor at the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show at:
